Your local guide will lead you through the streets of Palermo's popular markets. On this 2-hour tour, you'll experience the authentic life of the locals. Amid colorful stalls and the scents of street food, you'll hear tales and legends of the area, discover architectural wonders, and uncover hidden corners of Palermo.

Kick off the tour with a refreshing toast; your guide will let you taste a traditional drink with a recipe that dates back to 1820.

Throughout the tour, you'll sample various street food bites such as: panelle (chickpea fritters), crocché (potato croquettes), arancini (fried rice balls), sfincione (dough topped with onion, breadcrumbs, tomato, and oregano), Caponata, various fish specialties like octopus, sardine skewers, fried shrimp, and calamari. All of this will be paired with a drink (beer or water), and we'll show you the best stalls to try your preferred specialties.

Before concluding the tour, you'll journey through the historical center, strolling the main streets to reach one of Palermo's historic "Focaccerias", where you'll sample "Pane Ca'Meusa" and "Moffolette with Ricotta".

At the end of the tour, your guide will recommend places where you can savor refreshing fruit dishes or indulge in cannoli and other typical desserts.
